King Abdulaziz Medical City

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The Vascular & Interventional Radiology Department at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) has been accredited as an IASIOS Centre, becoming the second institution in Saudi Arabia to receive this recognition. The accreditation confirms that the department’s interventional oncology service line operates according to the highest international standards of standardisation and quality. Led by Dr Mohammad Arabi, Dr Shaker Alshehri, and Dr Mohamed Muaikeel, the team demonstrated a strong commitment to structured, high-quality care throughout the accreditation process.

Galway, Ireland

We welcome University Hospital Galway as an Enrolled Centre in the IASIOS community. The enrolment, led by Prof O’Sullivan and Dr O’Brien, reflects a clear commitment to standardised clinical care in interventional oncology. The team is also a recipient of the First Year Forward Grant, which supports centres in the initial phase of their IASIOS journey.

We look forward to supporting them as they progress through the accreditation process.

Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV)

Lausanne, Switzerland

Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), based in Lausanne, Switzerland, has joined the IASIOS community as an Enrolled Centre. Under the leadership of Prof Rafael Duran, the team has taken an important step toward implementing structured, standardised care in interventional oncology.

CHUV is also a recipient of the First Year Forward Grant, which provides support during the early stages of the IASIOS pathway by covering enrolment and first-year membership fees.

Congratulations to the Interventional Oncology unit of the 1st Laboratory of Radiology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Areteion Hospital, for achieving IASIOS Accredited Centre status. This makes it the second centre in Greece to attain this recognition.
