IASIOS Reaccreditation

IASIOS Reaccreditation

Where to start?

After four years as an IASIOS Accredited Centre, it’s time to reaffirm your facility’s commitment to exceptional patient care and continuous improvement. IASIOS reaccreditation is more than a renewal — it’s a milestone to reflect on your facility’s progress, implement new improvements, and explore the opportunity to advance to the IASIOS Centre of Excellence status.

Timeline

The reaccreditation process can open up to 12 months before the expiration of a facility’s current accreditation, providing ample time for thorough preparation. We recommend that facilities begin gathering the necessary data at this stage to ensure a seamless application experience.

To ensure continuous Accredited Centre status, we encourage submitting your reaccreditation application no later than 3 months before the current accreditation expires.

Additionally, please note that the reaccreditation fee must be paid in full no later than 6 months before the current accreditation expires to enable a new application submission. Please refer to this page for a comprehensive overview of associated fees and other financial details.

Re-accreditation or Centre of Excellence: What’s the Difference?

IASIOS Accredited Centre Reaccreditation

Maintain your Accredited Status: To retain your IASIOS Accredited Centre seal, your facility must demonstrate compliance with the 28 core criteria outlined in the CIRSE Standards of Quality Assurance in Interventional Oncology. This pathway helps you ensure that your standards of care are upheld, updated, and reflective of global best practices.

Centre of Excellence (CoE) Accreditation

Achieve Excellence: For facilities ready to reach new heights, the IASIOS Centre of Excellence seal represents the pinnacle of interventional oncology standards. Achieving CoE status requires meeting the full set of 52 criteria—a comprehensive evaluation of clinical practices, multidisciplinary collaboration, and advanced quality measures. This distinction positions your facility as a global leader in the field.

Choosing Your Path to Reaccreditation

Whether renewing your IASIOS Accredited Centre status or striving for the Centre of Excellence seal, both pathways reinforce your facility’s dedication to superior patient care and quality standards. Select the path that aligns with your facility’s goals and readiness and embark on the next step in your journey of excellence with IASIOS.

Throughout the reaccreditation process, facilities are encouraged to complete all 52 criteria regardless of whether they choose to pursue the CoE seal. This can serve as a valuable assessment tool, helping you track progress, plan future improvements, and benchmark with other leading facilities worldwide.
